NSS

Two units, 100 volunteers each. The annual seven-day camp is held in a nearby village — Dongapur in 2025, where volunteers desilted the village tank and ran a health screening with the PHC. Regular activities are the Sunday shramadana, the blood donation camp in November, and the voter awareness drive before any election.

Scouts and Guides

An open troop and a company, thirty-two students between them. Rajya Puraskar testing is held at the district camp each December; four students qualified in 2025.

Sport

Kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball and athletics. Practice is at 8:45 am and again after class. The college fields teams at the taluk and district level; the kabaddi team reached the district semi-final in 2025 and the girls' kho-kho team won the taluk championship the same year.

Cultural committee

Students run it, with one lecturer as convener. It organises the annual day in February, the Kannada Rajyotsava programme on 1 November, and the inter-class competitions — debate, essay, rangoli, folk song and mimicry — that run through the year.

Tengli Baraha

The college magazine, published once a year in Kannada and English. Students write it, students edit it and students choose what goes in. The 2025 issue ran a set of interviews with the oldest residents of six surrounding villages, which is now the only written record of some of what is in it.

• Anti-ragging committee — two student members
• Internal complaints committee — one student member, one alternate
• Library committee — two student members
• Canteen and drinking water committee — three student members
• Cultural committee — six student members

Nominations are called for in the third week of August. Any student may stand.
