Kannada Rajyotsava

The college marks Kannada Rajyotsava on 1 November with flag hoisting, the Naadageethe, and a cultural programme by the students.

Programme:

- 10:00 am — Flag hoisting and Naadageethe
- 10:20 am — Address by the Principal
- 10:40 am — Students' cultural programme: folk song, janapada dance, and readings from Kuvempu and Da Ra Bendre
- 12:00 noon — Prize distribution for the Kannada essay and elocution competitions
- 12:30 pm — Refreshments

This is a working day with a programme, not a holiday. All students are expected. The village is welcome and usually comes; there is no ticket and no seat to book.
