Post-matric scholarship — SSP applications open

Applications for the post-matric scholarship for SC, ST, OBC and minority students are open on the State Scholarship Portal (SSP). The last date is 30 September 2026.

Bring to Room 3, any weekday afternoon:

- Aadhaar card
- Caste certificate and income certificate, valid for the current year
- SSLC marks card
- Bank passbook — the account must be in the student's own name and Aadhaar-seeded
- Fee receipt from this college

The cell will fill in the application with you on the college computers. There is no charge for this. If anyone in the village asks you for money to fill in an SSP form, tell us.

A note on the bank account: it must be the student's own, and the Aadhaar seeding must be done at the bank branch, not on a phone. This is the single reason applications fail here, every year. Check it before you come.

Last year the cell got 289 students onto a scholarship. Every one of them started with somebody walking into Room 3.
